On average it takes 4 weeks for a new influencer/creator be accepted. You have a better chance of getting accepted if:

• Your audience is a good match for our campaigns

Every app that gets installed pays a different amount. Every app's payout also varies depending on the user’s country & their device (iOS or Android). You can check each app's payout details directly on our dashboard.

Yes! GOTAP's referral program is a great way to introduce other Creators to our platform and, as an added benefit, you earn a 10% referral bonus based on their earnings for the first 12 months!

Where is my referral link?
Please follow these steps to get your referral link:

1. Head to the Profile tab in your GOTAP dashboard .
2. Select the Bonus tab, and scroll to the Referral Bonus section.
3. Copy and Share your unique referral link.

Before cashing out your earnings with GOTAP, you'll first need to earn at least $20.00. Let's walk through setting up payments and updating your existing payment information.

Cashing out for the first time
At your first cash out, you can choose between PayPal or setting up a GOTAP Payments account for other payment methods such as ACH, SEPA, Wire Transfer, etc.

Please follow these steps to set up your payments:

1. Head to the Profile tab in your GOTAP dashboard and tap on Cash Out.
2. Select Payments, and follow the prompts.
3. If you selected GOTAP Payments, keep an eye out on your email inbox and spam folder for our message.
4. Open the email and follow the GOTAP Payments registration link instructions.

Once you're done, you can request a cash out from the app by tapping Cash Out from the Profile tab 🤑


Updating your GOTAP Payments information

1. Head to the Profile tab within the dashboard
2. Tap the Settings icon in the upper right corner
3. Scroll down to the About heading and select Go to GOTAP Payments
4. Login with your GOTAP Payments email/password

How long does it take to get the money
Congratulations, you did it! You're cashing out!
Our team manually processes every cash out to ensure it gets to you smoothly. The cash out process takes 24-48 hours to process on our end. For bank-to-bank transfers like ACH or e-check, there may be an ADDITIONAL processing time of 3-5 business days.

We do not issue cash out on weekends; these will be processed at the beginning of the workweek. If you've initiated a cash out and have been waiting more than 5 business days, please reach out and we'll be more than happy to check in on the payment for you.

GOTAP is committed to protecting your work. As such, the trust and safety team will review claims of IP infringement. If you ever need to contact us to file a claim, please send us an email to hi@gotap.it.

Here is a list of what you will need to include in your request for the claim to be eligible for review:

1. A recording and a link to your original work. You can file a claim for multiple pieces of content by listing them all in the same email.
2. A recording and a link of the work you believed has been copied.
3. Your personal information including name, address, telephone number and email address.
4. A statement mentioning that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
5. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the above information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright or intellectual property owner or authorized to act on the copyright or intellectual property owner’s behalf.

Please note that in order to qualify to fill a claim, you will need to be the owner of the work or a legal representative. You should also note that IP infringement claims are not anonymous. Claims might be shared with the alleged infringer or posted online for the purpose of a transparency report for example.

We reserve the right at any time to withhold funds that might be infringing on someone’s intellect property. It is our policy to terminate an account that repeatedly infringes on another’s copyright, according to the procedure set forth in 17 U.S.C. §512 of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”).

GOTAP is a service that enables social media creators to monetize their audience by promoting apps and other products. In accordance with US Federal Law (COPPA), all creators must be at least 13 years old to sign up for GOTAP. If you manage a group of social media creators from different age ranges, please remember that anyone who is younger than 13 cannot run our ads on their social media. It may be tempting to monetize content for younger audiences, but please remember this market is heavily regulated to protect children from various risks of advertising, such as exploitation and misleading advertising.

GOTAP welcomes users over the age of 13, but we have special policies and processes to protect their unique needs of minors. This translates to a zero-tolerance policy for sexualizing underaged individuals on GOTAP. We also review issues around privacy, image rights, and bullying and harassment in a stricter manner when they involve minors. There are restrictions to the type of content minors can post online, and, in accordance, we may limit the advertising partnerships they have access to through GOTAP.

Creators under the age of 16 need to have a parental or guardian permission in order to have an active GOTAP account. If you are the responsible parent or guardian of a content creator, we recommend that you take proactive steps to protect your child online. You can share your links & QRs on Youtube, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Tiktok and Twitch. We check the source of every single install and if it does not match one those platforms the install will be flagged as invalid and you will not get paid for it.

Yes, you can copy/paste your custom link in any (permitted) social channel, our technology takes care of the tracking and attribution of installs, no matter where they come from.

Installs are flagged as invalid if they fail to pass our anti-fraud checks or infringe the rules of our platform. Some examples are:

1. Installs that don't originate from GOTAP links/QRs that have been posted on our list of approved social media channels (we currently allow Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitch, Snapchat, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram & Discord).
2. Installing multiple apps/games from your own device
3. Consecutive Installs from the same devices
4. Downloads coming from paid sources
5. Promoting through paid ads

Our technology collects device information, location, progression data, and session time for every install. We also use a 3rd party analytics and anti-fraud provider to help us to identify invalid install patterns of all sorts.

Yes, when you share a GOTAP link or QR code you must always add a #ad or #promoted hashtag to inform your audience that they are viewing promoted content.

Any of the prohibited actions listed below will get your account suspended indefinitely:

1. Generating installs that don't originate from GOTAP links/QRs that have been posted on our list of approved social media channels ( Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitch, Snapchat, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram & Discord).
2. Promoting through paid ads on Instagram, Facebook, etc. and any other paid media is prohibited. You need to share your link/QR through a story, post, stream, etc. and get organic traffic. Incentivized traffic is also prohibited.
3. Driving excessive amounts of low-engagement users: Our system collects progression data and session time from every install. If there's an excessive amount of installs/not play-use behavior, your installs are useless and considered as invalid installs.
4. Any other action that is deemed to be fraudulent.

Users have to open an app for it to count as an install, just downloading an app is not enough. Also, you should know that we don't count multiple installs from the same device.
