End User Terms

1) Definitions

• Creator: an individual or channel (e.g., content creator) that shares a GOTAP promotional link.
• Promotional Link: a GOTAP-tracked URL/QR code used to measure marketing performance.
• Advertiser: the company that owns or markets the Advertiser App.
• App Store: Apple App Store, Google Play, or another third-party distribution platform.

2) What these Terms cover (and what they do not)

These Terms govern your use of the Promotional Link and any GOTAP-operated redirect/landing page associated with it.

These Terms do not govern your installation or use of the Advertiser App itself. The Advertiser App is provided by the Advertiser and is governed by the Advertiser's own terms, privacy policy, and app store terms.

3) No end-user rewards or incentives

GOTAP does not offer rewards, compensation, or incentives to end users for clicking a Promotional Link or installing/using an Advertiser App.

Creators may be compensated by GOTAP and/or the Advertiser based on marketing performance (for example, installs or in-app events). Creators are expected to disclose paid promotions in accordance with applicable laws and platform rules.

4) How measurement and attribution works (high level)

To measure marketing performance and help prevent fraud, GOTAP and/or the Advertiser (including their measurement providers) may process certain information associated with your interaction with a Promotional Link and your subsequent install/use of the Advertiser App.

This may include (depending on platform and permissions): device and browser information, IP address and approximate location, timestamp, click identifiers, advertising identifiers, app install and open events, and other performance and anti-fraud signals.

5) Your responsibilities

You agree that you will not:

• use automated scripts, bots, emulators, click farms, or similar methods to manipulate clicks, installs, or measurement;
• interfere with the operation of the Promotional Link, redirect page, or tracking mechanisms; or
• use the Promotional Link for unlawful purposes.

If suspicious or abusive activity is detected, associated events may be excluded from campaign measurement and reporting.

6) Third-party services and app stores

Promotional Links typically redirect you to a third-party App Store or the Advertiser's website. GOTAP does not control and is not responsible for third-party services, including availability, content, security, or practices of app stores or Advertisers.

7) Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue Promotional Links or redirect pages at any time. We may update these Terms from time to time by posting an updated version with a new effective date. Your continued use of Promotional Links after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

8) Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Promotional Links and any GOTAP redirect/landing pages are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind (express or implied), including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GOTAP will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from or related to your use of a Promotional Link or any GOTAP redirect/landing page.

To the extent liability cannot be excluded, GOTAP's total liability will be limited to the greater of (a) USD 100 or (b) the minimum amount required by applicable law.

10) Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms will be brought in the courts located in Los Angeles, California, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
